Back in Blog Land

OMGosh....it's been sooooooooooooo long since I was on my blog........been absorbed in Facebook land.............Facebook is cool, but I can't really write a lot there and I can't track my life, in the way I'd like to do with a diary....the blog is like my diary, so to speak....Life has been good, busy, sometimes stressful, but not too much, and interesting. As usual, a million things going on at once, with the main focus being Noi. Today I went to a hike with an International Women's Group and it was LOVELY. I realized how much of a "tomboy" natural girl I am when the guide, a man, said, "Lastly, we are going to climb up this steep hill." It was slippy and sandy and I just bolted up it right behind him and when I reached the top, looked down at the other ladies, who were all quite disturbed, because they were having a terrible time to get up the hill. Finally, 10 minutes later, they all made it up. Japan is GORGEOUS right now, so alive and GREEN. The insects are all starting to emerge and that means beetles that sing all day and night. I can't wait to hear them. Days are warm, nights still a little chilly, but not bad at all. This weekend is Father's Day. We will do something fun.
